I wanted to bring to your attention the fact that Halo 4 is lacking a sprint meter. In Reach, Sprint was an armor ability, so you could keep track of how much you had left, which was very useful for deciding when was the best time to sprint out of a fight. But now, who knows how many times you’ll try to sprint away from a firefight going one direction, when really, you should’ve taken a different path that was shorter because you didn’t have enough sprint for that longer path.

I think you will be able to get a feel for it and figure it out eventually, but if I were you and wasn’t sure, then I would stay on the side of caution and get what you can even if you aren’t
That’s a good feature, forcing the player to think more about whether they should rush in or not, people who don’t and mistakenly have little sprint left will be punished.
Won’t happen. The reason they removed it was that the HUD is already too cluttered, besides after playing a couple games you’ll know how long it lasts and takes to recharge.
You’re over thinking it. If you need to Sprint away but don’t have enough Stamina, then do a Zig Zag pattern, Ghandi Hop or just fight it out. You’ll respawn in less than 5 seconds with Full Stamina.
> It’s not that hard to figure it out and also the spartan breaths right before you run out of sprint.
Which is not useful for finding out when your sprint is recharged, or when 30 guns are shooting around you and people are trying to communicate over the mic.
> You said you die too much because you can’t run away from the enemy. Running to and from is another thing entirely.
Did I say that? I thought I wrote exactly this, as posted above: “Yes it is a huge deal. I can’t count how many times I’ve died due to not knowing how much sprint I have.”
