(no spoilers) Just finished the Rubicon Protocol and it's great!

What are your thoughts on the book?

I read it recently too and also enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to a replay of the game when co-op comes out partially because of it.

It sets up tons of things that could fold into future expansions of the game, and I hope it does.

Kelly Gay nailed it with this book, I actually relate better to the Spartan IVs featured here in a way that Denning has been bringing more personality to Blue Team in his books. The way most of Majestic Team acted in 4 rubbed me the wrong way and 5 was a good start. The Escalation comics too. I think pushing the narrative in a gritty way really made them feel more human to me and that they actually are fighting to survive, and making sacrifices for the greater good.

I do have to admit though, if it’s a Halo Novel, they tend to always be good in my opinion.

The new four books are really nice.
It’s a strange thing that 343i’s books are usually looks better than their games’ play book .
Imagine that you and your three friends playing coop as blue team, watching Spartan VI landing on Reach’s glassland by drop pods, or step into the escape pods fight with the Banished by guerrilla movement on Zeta halo.
It will be better than Infinite isn’t it?
