no splitscreen no system link what are youthinking

no split screen and no system link what are you thinking? I am the owner of Video Game Bus yesterday I went out and spent $3951.86 on 6 Xbox one’s. 6halo 5.s and 18 wireless controllers. just to find out that that best game out there just screwed the pooch and made a common shooter game. what a disappointment. I can’t use it at all in the bus. I see about 240 players a week in the bus. I guess it’s back to halo 4 and black ops 2

Man, I wouldn’t trust a business like yours who doesn’t do research on these things. If you are even telling the truth. But really, this has been known for a long time now.

Oh thank god! I saw your post and thought it was a month ago and I only dreamed of the release. But to my relief you have just been under a rock for the last 2 months. Seriously though this has been known for a long time and we are all over it now

WOW!! Really, now you have found out the news… It was published and mentioned about couple of months ago since BETA. You need to do some serious research before buying a game

Someone didn’t pay attention to anything the past few months. This has been common knowledge for a while.

i have bought every halo game ever since you guys started the halo series, every halo game that you made has been almost completely flawless. Im a huge fan.
for some -Yoink- -Yoinking!- reason you greedy pieces of shiet decided to make this new halo game all about trying to increase profit, You guys removed the split-screen feature that had been in every halo game. This feature is one of the main reasons that everybody bought the game. You -Yoinking!- -Yoink- lovers are saying that you removed this feature to make the grafics better, but really there was no need to remove the split-screen to have better graphics. You only did this in order to force someones brother or sister or friend to buy a new xbox one in order to play halo witch was a stupid -Yoinking!- idea in your part because no one that lives in the same house as someone who already has an xbox one is gonna buy a new one. Not everyone wants to play online you -Yoinking!- suppository lovers, and now you made it impossible to play local with friends and family in the same screen. You require an online membership just to play this new game. ¿did your mom shoved that many suppositorys in your -Yoinks!- as children to make you -Yoinking!- idiots think this was a good idea???
did your wives cheated on you that many times with your fathers to mess up your head that much that you decided to make halo 5 very similar to call of duty???
you disappointed myself and a lot of the halo community with this. You -Yoinking!- foot job lovers need to fix this mistakes by creating an update now, or many people are going to return this game because you and this game both suck a tremendous amount of -Yoink-.

Hope you still have your receipts then. You’ll need to do a few returns now

People here don’t seem to understand that not everyone and their mother follow a game through its entire development. A ridiculously vast amount of people were shocked and upset to find out there is no split screen after already buying the game. Just because they didn’t know this prior to buying doesn’t make the situation justifiable as everyone responding seems to think.

You really didn’t think to check if it actually had system link before spending that kind of money?

It’s kind of your own fault. They’ve been upfront about it for months.

That’s kinda irrelevant. I bought Army of two a couple of years ago to play online with a friend. When we started it up, we realised EA had shut down the servers. Did we jump onto EA forums and complain? No. We realised we weren’t too bright for not checking before buying it.

Me and the same friend bought Lego Marvel to play online. We later found it didn’t have online multiplayer. Whoops. Again, our fault. It isn’t 343’s fault if people can’t actually be bothered to do a quick Google search, or…I dunno, check the back of the case?

Well it’s also on the back of the game case so you don’t have to do research to see there is no split screen. So still it is the business’ fault

I agree if you are an average consumer, but if you are operating a business which revenues come from video games, you better do your research before buying anything. Business 101.

I agree that the customer is still to blame if they only find out after having bought the game. However, it doesn’t change the fact that loads of people are still only finding this information out right now at launch so it makes sense that people are upset with this decision at the current time. Saying “we already knew about this” doesn’t solve anything for them.

In OP’s specific case, yes, they absolutely should have known this. I’m saying in general though that I understand why so many people are upset with the lack of split screen since its new information for a lot of buyers.

Never did i mention “already knowing about it”. My point is its on the game case. If you don’t look on the back and read the specifics before you buy its your own fault. Its like buying a program that only runs on windows 10 and you own a windows xp, and you just didn’t read the system requirements before purchasing.

I completely agree.

Not you specifically, but a lot of the earlier replies were “we already knew about this”, in which case I was saying those replies weren’t very helpful towards anything. Either way, I’m still agreeing with you that people SHOULD know before buying the game. However, it makes sense that people are finding out too late because no one would really think to have to check the box given every single halo before this one had a split screen option and its always been a staple of the series.

Both of these things are faults of the System itself. Blame Microsoft for its hardware decisions.

This is why the Halo community goes down the drain. Just sad.
You could have elaborated your thoughts in a civilised way but you chose to make a fool out of yourself.

As a supposed business owner, this is your fault guy, don’t blame anyone else not doing research. Besides who actually enjoys playing in those buses, they are basically food stamps for gamers

Not sure what Chorizo is so mad about. Sadly the norm for new releases, especially ones of this caliber, the new thing to do is bash the hell out of them and try to find every single flaw…I mean come on people get over yourselves.
