Quit being pathetic 343i and locking the threads. This isn’t going away lol so just actually fix it instead of trying to work around it and shut people up, its obviously not working. Instead of putting so much effort into locking forums put that towards getting the codes out.
I wouldn’t say that a forum moderator is exactly the same as the people who would make decisions on such a matter. In fact, maybe if the threads were more polite, they wouldn’t be locked?
I’m in the same boat. I got no email, no message on my Gamertag’s message center, even though I fulfilled all the criteria and have a valid email address.
Let’s all just calm down, maybe we’ll even get an answer if we’re respectful, hm?
Nevermind, mine got locked without so much as a response. Apparently it doesn’t matter, and we couldn’t possibly be without codes because there’s no way anyone who did any of this made any kind of mistake…
People were respectful before they started locking threads, the first week, and after they had “sent all the e-mails” now people are mad.
Not to add insult to injury but im on the same page on how ****ed up this situation is. So many players still dont have their spec codes… yet i got 2 msgs to claim mine, one giving it, the other noting that i havent claimed it and giving the codes again… but the entire time since ive been playing, ive had all the specs and never had any issues with them… ever… why the hell am i the one getting lucky or being picked as someone to get the codes, when i dont need them, and theres ppl out there extremely ****in pissed about.
And the worst possible way to treat this issue is to shut down the threads where ppl are venting, asking for help, or anything that relates to the topic. IDK why mods make their decision so hastely especially for this game, at this time, with this issue in mind, it the worst thing possible.
I wouldnt be surprised if youve lost several hundred players if not way more due to the fact that they gave up waiting for the codes and then just stopped playing and moved on.
People are already eventually gonna move on, but why drive them away? Its only gonna make them think twice or not even think about buying any future games.

I had an almost similar issue with sony twice over 2 completely different products. Guess what happened… I dont support sony, nor will i ever recommend anything sony makes to anyone, and sony hasnt and will never see another dime from me. Its too bad im a sucker for GT5… prays please let gran turismo no longer be an exclusive amen
And thats coming from someone that was a die hard sony/play station fan and has every single… yes every single version of any playstation ever released except for the ps3 slim and vita thanks to their terrible (thats an understatement) business ethics and customer and tech support. I still have ridge racer on my wall right next to me if you believe it. (old reference google it if ur interested)
