Why is 343i making the game have no spawn time?
I feel this is going to happen allot.
Player 1:is 1 shot and Gets a kill on player 2
Player 2:Spawn near player 1 gets instant revenge.
You got to have some spawn time to give the other player to recharge his shields.
(I seen this happen in the test videos)
And also This join in game progress.
This will ruin sooo many Win/Loose Ratio and K/D. Why?
Say you join a game with 10 sec to go you die right when you get in games over and your team looses and you go -1.
I just feel these things are not needed or fit in with halo and some people don’t realize this will be annoying.
Lets just wait and see how it will be implemented. If we could think of these flaws, so could 343i. Also not every game type has no spawn time, Just infinity slayer. Same goes with join in progress.
I’m sure the spawning system is being improved and the maps look much bigger than previous Halo games. Also, it will not feature in objective based gametypes in Halo 4 multiplayer matchmaking. I’m sure it’s customisable in custom games.
I’m not sure if it’s been confirmed yet but it’s likely only some playlists will have this drop-in and out feature. And for the playlists that do have it, I’d expect it to put you in a game that is under 50% completed and there is not a high difference gap of team scores.
To be honest, we can’t fully judge the instant respawn without knowing how the spawning system will work in Halo 4.
Also that drop in/drop out feature? Yeah that’s not going to be in every playlist in Halo 4. I can show you the Q&A with Frank saying this if you don’t believe me.
If it turns out it doesn’t work well, 343 can easily just change the spawn times, so it’s not much of a big deal.

Really? So not all Game types will have no spawn time. I hope BTB has spawn time.
No respawn time is only in Slayer(maybe just Infinity Slayer). It would be pointless to have it in Objective.

Solution? Play with friends. Most of the time in CoD you will be put into a whole new lobby when you search as a team.
Also K/D is irrelevant most of the time.
It’ll only be in more casual playlists/gametypes, so it shouldn’t affect competitive W/L. Also, you’ll have the option to choose whether or not you want to join an in-progress game, or start a new one.

So instant respawn also means you always spawn next to you killer? Solid logic, there.

Not all game will be joinable, it’s just an option for quicker matchmaking.
Join mid game is an options
I will never use it but many will
As for no spawn time Im unsure at this point but if IMPLEMENTED RIGHT it could work out just like mostly everything NEW to the game - could go either way -
I doubt the spawn system will drop you right next to the enemy players

And remember, it will be disabled in certain gametypes, most notably Objective games.

BTB will be so hectic without spawn time bro. Imagine it. 343 isnt stupid, my best bet is there will be spawn times in BTB
