No Spartan Ops System-Link? Shameful

So, I thought the wife and I could play some lag free Spartan Ops by playing system link but it says we need to be connected to Xbox live to play Spartan Ops.

We’re both Xbox live gold members, and we’re both connected to Xbox live (you remain connected to Live even on the system link channel) but no, despite being in the same house, on te same netwok, the game insists we must play the game over Xbox live so one has horrendous lag.

This is a shameful situation. This needs to be fixed.

Spartan Ops needs to be available offline. If not, at least give us Firefight back. Whoever’s idea it was to cut Firefight should know that they have saddened and middle fingered a lot of people, whether it was intentional or not.
