So I’ve had this issue since Halo CE has been added to Halo MCC on PC. I have absolutely no sound coming from Halo CE in both multiplayer and campaign. The menu sounds and the Halo Reach sounds all work just fine. I’ve tried messing around with all sorts of sound settings, but have not been able to get any sound coming from Halo CE. I did disable and re-enable my speakers one time, and that gave me sound for one multiplayer game, but this has not worked since. I also tried running the game as administrator (I assumed it did this anyways, but I guess not), and was able to get sound for one campaign mission. After that mission though, the game locked up my entire PC and had to hard power off my PC. And then even better, the game had apparently corrupted itself and had to be reinstalled after that crash. I don’t even know how that happened, but I’m just used to this game being a buggy mess at this point. After that reinstall, I have not had any luck getting Halo CE sound, even when trying the things that worked in the past. Was wondering if anyone else was having a similar issue to me, and possibly knew about a way to fix this. My one friend keeps telling me to clean install Windows, but I feel like that’s sorta a drastic step and I don’t want to deal with that.
