I have this weird problem when I load up the H2A campaign. There’s no sound. Like… at all. The cinematics play fine, but when it goes to actual gameplay, there’s just dead silence. Every other game in the MCC plays fine. In fact, H2A’s multiplayer is fine. I’ve been talking with someone from Xbox Support and have done just about everything they told me I should do. I’ve reset my console, did a factory reset, even uninstalled and reinstalled H2A, but I still have no sound. Is anyone else having this issue? I HAVE to know…
UPDATE: After further troubleshooting, I have found it’s not just the campaign that’s without sound. It’s all of Halo 2 Classic. I loaded up a Custom Game and I was playing as if my TV was muted.
Come on, guys. I can’t be the only one experiencing this issue. I’ve tried everything…
I am also having the exact same issue playing Halo 2 campaign on master chief collection Xbox one, done everything everyone told me to do but game is just broken I guess, plus the controls for some of the halos are broken and jump is on the D pad which it has never been not A for default??? Was pumped to get into halo but switching back to a different game I guess!

Yeah, I had this issue too. To fix it delete your local halo mcc save data (it will be phrased as save data on the console). Next hard reset your xbox by holding the glowy button for about 5 seconds till it stops glowing. Turn on your xbox and enter halo mcc, it should attempt to sync your saved cloud data. Cancel this as soon as it pops up and force quit halo mcc. Start up halo mcc and (if i recall correctly) choose to download the cloud save data. After this halo 2 should have sound and your save data will be intact. There should be no risk of llsing your save data as long as you do not delete the cloud save data.
Hope this helps!
