While I don’t like Smart Scope in general it will probably return, but it shouldn’t for all weapons like in Halo 5. If Smart Scope returns for Halo Infinite it should not be on Automatic Weapons like the AR,and SMG and should only be on precision weapons like the BR and Light Rifle as Smart Scope gives too much range to the Automatic Weapons.

I never found smart scope on automatics to increase their effective range, even after the various updates. I’ve made the poor decision to take on a BR at mid-range using an AR and smart scope just didn’t help me. Smart scope on automatics is more redundant rather than game-breaking, but I suppose it was needed to make the stabilization ability work. If stabilization returns (which I personally wouldn’t mind) then smart scope on all weapons ought to as well.
