Anyone else spending their ENTIRE weekend playing Halo Infinite for both weekends? As a teen whose only worries are school at the moment, I know I am.
(of course I’ll still put in 8 hours of sleep, but as soon as I wake up, take care of hygiene, and eat, its Halo all day long)
Lack of sleep can raise your risk of heart disease, diabetes, mental health problems, infertility and more. Sleep provides time for the body to restore and recharge, playing a key role in nearly all aspects of physical health. Don’t damage your physical health. Get some sleeps between, and drink a lot of water.
One shouldn’t jeopardize their sleep because of a test
I agree with Taichgi. I know that you’re excited… I get it believe me.
Get a good night’s sleep and you’ll enjoy the game more because you will play better, be in a better mood, and you’ll remember the experience.
I appreciate the passion king! But don’t push yourself too hard man. Cop some Z’s if you can lol.
Considering that there are limited time that you can play I don’t see how you can stay up the whole time playing. Unless you include training and weapon drills.
No because I have adult responsibilities
Dangerous, please sleep!
Hour are you going to play the entire time when things are only open a few hours a day at a time?
I acknowledge your desire to go completely without sleep, but trust me you should at get a few hours of sleep to keep your mind and body in decent shape. Resting is an important recharge time for your body that you can’t really ‘catch up’ on if you skip too much. There is a limited time frame to play too so you probably won’t be able to go all night anyway.
Stay up an extra hour or two? If you aren’t busy then go for it. Completely without sleep? Please don’t.

I’m with ya man, you do you! I’ll be doing the same as much as I can while at least getting a tad bit of sleep lol
Ok everyone is severely overreacting to this youngster. Is sleep deprivation bad? Yes. Is one weekend of less than ideal sleep going to give him chronic health issues? No.
Let the dude have his fun.
It’s open to all Halo Insiders right? I never got an email inviting me this one but I did to the first one.

This. The longer you are alive the more Halo you can play. Some call it a life hack.
I`m to old to endure it hahaha but on my days of glory… no one would stop me… take it from a fellow halo die hard player, dont push yourself to hard there is really no point
I have night shift so unfortunately I’ll be playing through the morning or through the afternoon. One of them, however, will always be reserved for me to charge up before my shift. If you have ever worked nights, you know that there are two things which can make a night shift very uncomfortable: not eating before your shift and not sleeping before your shift. Even great things like Halo are best with moderation and balance. Too much of anything impedes a balanced lifestyle. Or at least that’s what I’ve begun learning in martial arts.
Unfortunately I have to go to work, But I’ll definitely be playing in my off-hours

I’m with that. I say lose sleep and play video games while you are young. Because next thing you know, you’re 23 years old working 36 hours a week in night shifts at some hotel while taking 5 online college classes. Gotta enjoy that care-free lifestyle while it’s there. I enjoyed being a teenager, but looking back on it now, I should have enjoyed it more and not been so eager to graduate. Ah, how adulthood makes you reflect lol.

Gotta echo that. The passion for gaming stays, but life changes on a daily basis. No lie, continuing to game in adulthood requires lots of time management, goal setting, and job hunting (because these consoles and games and -Yoink- ain’t cheap, dog. Gotta keep moving up so I can keep earning the money to pay for these upgrades. Ya feel?).
I’ll play, but I like my sleep lol.
