No-show for Halo 4 on Feb. 29th?

Once again perusing the web for Halo 4 tidbits, I came across this;
Neogaf Post

“a third party or Microsoft Studios thing that has nothing to do with Halo”
I’ll assume this is in reference to the Microsoft Spring Showcase on February 29th.

This all being said, is this the grim confirmation of no Halo 4 info?

{{Author’s note; I’m also aware that this date was rumor and speculation to begin with, yet it did hold more merit than past events.}}

If the Spring Showcase DOES go without Halo 4 info, hopefully we’ll get some information
from GDC starting March 5th. That too, is just speculation, though.

I think that is a pretty clear message. Stop assuming when Halo will be shown because its not going to happen.

Do you know what a 3rd party is? Do you know that Microsoft studios isn’t “Xbox Spring Showcase 2012” it’s an actual studio, not an event? This is neither confirmation or denying anything. Just wait and see, if nothing is shown, yet again, NOTHING is shown. If there is, YAY we got some info. This community is INSANE.

i think hes not talking about the showcase,i think he menas that we shouldnt be dissapointed if the brute shot will not be back in halo 4 because of the rumors

maybe i understood something wrong or i just see what i want to see,but i hope he didnt mean the showcase and there finally will be something

Yes, he’s replaying to someone who mentioned the brute shot, but his comment in whole isn’t a direct statement towards the brute shot. It’s referencing all of the speculation from statements.

I’m quite calm, just because I use some caps doesn’t mean I’m raising my voice, it’s me trying to EMPHASIZE something. All he’s CLEARLY saying is don’t get your hopes up and you won’t be disappointed. It’s that simple. I’m not attacking you, I’m saying this community reads what they want to read, they see what they want to see, when nothing is there. I’m not raving, I’m merely saying this thread never needed to be made in the first place.

What you call arguing, I call legitimate debate, if you have no intentions of defending your stance, yet another reason why YOU shouldn’t have posted in the first place. If Halo4 would not be there, why not a SIMPLE yes or NO from someone at 343? It makes no sense that they cant answer that thing. And event Microsoft said only “no comment”.
All of that makes no sense to me. Lets wait till next week.

And that’s a prime example of Frankie’s comment on “if company x is silent on y, it must mean z’ or, ‘that denial is couched in such a way that infers…’”

Are you kidding? I can barely tolerate posting here the three or four times a day I do.

I can’t imaging posting here full time and being someone like him. He’d probably quit the gaming industry.

But they should simeply clearify on that. Its not that hard. People and fans will getting really pissed if there is still nothing from halo4.
And if Halo4 is not there, then i think they have some dev problems or something. It would be sad that we are going to see the new CoD and MoH before Halo4. Its simply horrible Marketing and schedule. Not even a small leak.

Okay, I’ll defend my stance.

While Frankie may have been replying to someone’s comment about a Brute shot, his following statement was a generalization towards all of the community speculations. Yes, I DO know what a third party is, and I’m not sure why Microsoft “studios” was mentioned. But honestly “third party events/press sites” and microsoft studios have nothing to do with a brute shot confirmation or speculation, so it’s a questions as to why he’d mention them as well, if not to refer to gaming events that are upcoming.
But that’s what this whole thread is about.

I DONT know what he meant by that. I’m speculating, though not on what weapons will or wont be in the game, but something a tad more realistic. As to why I made this thread in the first place, It’s quite boring seeing a dead forums full of the same threads about the same speculations, or random ideas that won’t make the game anyway.
