no reward system for firefight

WHY IS THERE NO REWARD SYSTEM FOR FIREFIGHT?

i have played a few matches now the highest round i have gotten to is 61 and this is with 3 decimises with blood lust locust blitzerback spam

each match takes like over an hour to complete/the ai wipe your stuff out. you give us nothing from 1 hour of our time why. who developed this gamemoode and more inportantly who the hell decided not to put a reward system based on round in firefight.

furthermore why is there no matchmaking for firefight, like its hard to fine a third sometimes

solution: implement a system such as round 1 completeion 5xp round 2 completion 10xp so on, this would be fair and make it worth wasting an hour of my life on something that gives 0 rewards

Because rewards are tied to matchmaking to prevent skirmish abuse and it is not matchmaking. They have already replied to the complaints and said it will be looked at. I’d imagine rather than create a new XP system for it or such they will just make a matchmaking version like there is for vs AI.

or at least add firefight into the daily and weekly challenges. but i would like to be rewarded and able to build my deck from firefight

I do not own Halo wars 2 (but I would love to) still they should do what they did in halo 5 firefight give blitz card packs for the higher levels you achieve or give up XP boost or something like that.

Rewards aka XP
You get XP for playing the campaign missions?
I played through on normal, got xp, now im playing Legendary and getting 1100 xp per mission?

Some of those missions are easily farmable, far easier than nightmare mode Firefight so I dont think “abusing the system” is a valid reason.

When you matchmake vs AI in other modes you also get XP so I also dont know why your saying there shouldnt be xp or a seperate xp system for firefight.

I have the achievments for Firefight and have no incentive to play other than for “fun”
Until I 1000/1000 the game and get tired of multiplayer and ranking up, there is no further reason to play as I have “fun” ranking up in normal MP
