How did they think that was a good idea? Ontop of not including ANY armour in the ARMOUR LOCKERS spread across the map, but beating the campaign SHOULD net you something, this is standard since 3, nothing has disappointed me as much as this has.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been holding off on starting the campaign because I wanted to know if it was worth it to do it on legendary for extra multiplayer rewards.
Do you think they will change this and add a reward sometime later?

Ya, its bs… just finished the campaign on legendary and aside from getting a completion on my profile for legendary, it would have been really cool to get a cosmetic item for multiplayer or something for completing on legendary.
Honestly im disappointed, I don’t care about the achievements, they are nice but Id rather have an Item to show for the amount of effort put into it.
I don’t care so much about cosmetics anyone and everyone will be able to get… I would rather have something to show off for the skill required to obtain it, like the Onyx rewards in ranked… whatever tho, ill hold off on the full skull completion (or whatever) most likely, until I have a reason to do it.
Game was and is amazing and Im very thankful for Halo Infinite.
I hope whoever is in charge of this kinda thing sees this thread.

No mister chief armor makes me big sad. Just completed the game on legendary today I’m sad that I didn’t get master chief’s armor. At least an emblem would’ve been nice.

I was so happy playing this campaign, it was so good. I love it as a long term halo vet, I had so much fun. I started and finished on legendary… we should get like Master Chiefs suit or something usable in multiplayer… like I’ve never had such a slap in the face. It was kind of offensive… come on 343 why are you taking a dump on us…

so if anyone can i need help i had my play threw on legendary going and my little bro came in switched it to easy now my achievement progress is stuck ay 94 do i have to re do the whole campaign or can i just play up to that mission? please help

I mean, you get the enjoyment of saying you beat the game on legendary and you get an after credits scene so…

This would be great if they weren’t selling armor for 20 dollars a pop in the shop. A real slap in the face to not even give us a little something for legendary completion.

I’m not sure I really understand this gimmee gimmee mentality. I guess I’m way too old. Give me something for finishing on legendary, something for SR152, something for getting out of bed today.
Why can’t I finish my monthly battle pass in a day. Why isn’t there more stuff in it. What am I supposed to do for the next 11 weeks. Gimme more.
Why do I have to buy stuff. Why don’t you just give me free credits so I don’t have to.
I’m sure you’ll find a different revenue stream. Just not from me.
But seriously. I would have thought LASO is where there would / should be something. Not just plain old vanilla Legendary*

Most people’s problem wasn’t wanting to finish BP day one it was the challenges were terrible to make you use swaps. People are frustrated that classic armors are being sold for a lot of money which is understandable when none are available in the base game at all. And the fact that they are selling all this stuff makes them stripping a legendary completion reward from the paid campaign feel that much worse.

So there is one difference after beating it on legendary is that you get audio for that final cut scene after the credits roll. But beating it on Heroic still shows it but no audio.

The main things that you will get after completing the game on Legendary is the opportunity to watch the Legendary ending and an achievement. If you wish to take the step beyond that, completing the game on LASO grants you another achievement.
If we look historically at different Halo games. There hasn’t existed that many in game rewards for completing the campaign on Legendary outside achievements. Halo 3 had the EOD helmet, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach and Halo 5 had nothing if I’m not mistaken, Halo 4 had the Mark VI armor, Legendary Visor and the 117 emblem and MCC had few nameplates.

This is such a simple fix and its so ridiculous to me that they would leave something this exciting out of the game. Halo Infinite plays so well and unfortunately so many people I know that don’t have too much time to play are not playing the campaign because of this colossal mistake. I really hope they add a multiplayer skin reward for each difficulty level of the campaign. This is a simple grind/reward that makes people love Halo. Getting the Hayabusa armor in halo 3 was the coolest thing to EARN growing up. At least give the next generation something to feel good about themselves besides spending money. It doesnt have to be armor it can be a kill effect or something-- you can be creative and people will still buy the skins.

But, can I get both achievements if I only do the LASO playthrough? The Headmaster and the other one for finishing the game in Legendary?

I don’t know as I haven’t tried it. However, there may always exist some caveats like that usage of skulls prohibit the player to unlock some of the achievements.

Why give something for game play when they can put it in the store and hope you pay money for it. Pretty lame it looks as if you get no rewards for campaign stuff. Was hoping they would have something since plenty complained that H5 didn’t have campaign rewards.
