We just saw on the stream that they had reqs in forge to show off the weapons. what a giant tease.I wish they’d stop being stingy and just let us play with reqs in forge. There is no good reason i shouldn’t be able to mess around with the prophets bane or HCE pistol or oni hog with my friends in a custom game
It is rather unreasonable we cant use them. There is no reason for it.
I am sure, the forge team has taken note of this. They are probably working on implementing them soon.

Having the req items in forge and custom games would open a lot of doors and create a lot of possibilities. I myself probably wouldn’t make much use of it since I tend to play in arena and warzone with my friends. But for those who do play custom games, having the reqs available would be awesome.
When the forge was released, I looked around to see all the new features. When I saw that vehicles had [standard] next to each (that is, Gauss Warthog [standard]), I figured they’d implement the req versions of those eventually. Otherwise, why have the [standard] tag on them?
But, yes, having the req options for forge and custom games would be highly legitimate.
I’m all for this. It would add a lot of diversity to the forge community, and I don’t see why not.

CE magnum is in forge? That’s awesome, I got remakes and a CE gametype in my bookmarks and I’ve been dying to find out if this would be the case.
Aside from REQs, Covenant props are still missing. Examples include crates and portable shields.

but seriously, I would LOVE reqs in forge. I am messing with an idea where players spawn in a random “pod” kinda thing and are given 2 weapons and a powerup acording to their “class”. Having mythic weapons would allow the classes to constantly have their ability, instead of only having like 1 minute of a powerup. Of course, I would also do a ton more if we had reqs in forge, like, oh i don’t know, put down 1 giant floor and spend all the other 1023 items on nornfangs and whispered truths and prophets banes…XD!
and just another cool idea… what if we could add in AI enemies in forge maps someday!!!

100% agree. I haven’t used prophets bane since it was on truth in the beta and it was my overall. tool if destruction 
allowing use in customs would let players get a feel for certain without worrying about losing it within 5 seconds of spawning like in warzone

I’d assume that all the variants will be unlocked for customs at the time when 343i ends H5G’s support.

Spawning in weapons in custom games would be great and add a great way to experience it without using. I’ve used the prophets bane about 3 times and all 3 of those times it was when I killed the enemy and twice it was full haha. I’m all for adding reqs to forge the only counter argument is that people may think they might not be so special then. Before I used the prophets bane I thought it was going to be godlike and once I actually used it it was amazing just not god like so I was slightly disappointed be jade I hyped it myself. I think another reason it might not be in is that 343 is riding on the fact that a lot of people play to get all the weapons and the hype they generate towards them so if you could use them in customs it might take away some hype. But overall I would love to see them in customs. Be able to actually try the nornfang. I have it I’m just too scared to use it.
