No rendered Video? Not happy with that. What about screenshots? I like to post my assassinations on Facebook and save them as desktop pics. I think Waypoint should have all the bells and whistles that Bungie.net had but improving. A facebook button on the screenshots would be nice. Then theirs all the cool videos out there. I know Tech savvy players will figure it out but the rest of us would like to make a few vids too.
so the short version is you are unhappy with no rendered video support and also want a ‘add to facebook’ button for screenshots once the waypoint file service goes live?
i’ll say that while taking away rendering support isnt great, it would be much worse to waste resources inorder to make it available for reach- which will be shortlived once the community migrates to halo 4- so hopefully they are instead working to make the feature available in the next game with greater functionality
for the screenshots even if the facebook button doesnt exist all you would need to do is copy the url of the webpage and post it to facebook OR download it from waypoint and then upload it to facebook yourself, so it shouldnt be a problem either way
Totally understood on the Halo 4 renders. I was under the impression it would be axed all together. So good news and thanks for the info.
I don’t want to lose the reach screenshot capability. I can deal with cut and paste. I just don’t want to wait till November to have screenshots. I do suggest the FB and other share links too. That would be convenient.
