IXXI Kampy IXXI:I know putting no reicule bloom in the standard playlist would be a hastle but PLEASE 343 just put no redicule bloom in gametypes like team slayer, and rumble pit etc.I am sure most halo fans that have bin playing since the begining would APPRECIATE no BLOOM in the standard playlist.

Highly doubtfull considering Halo 4 is so close to launch, that they barely have time to do what they do now,

To me, most definitely, its a 1,000 times better then it was at release.

The Zero Bloom playlist was a colossal failure. Putting ZB into all those playlists will drive the population down.
Making the standard playlists bloomless would probably drive away the more “casual” players, or those who prefer bloom. Do I love zero bloom? Yes. Would it be smart to implement it in standard playlists? Not really.
Another massive update like the TU last year also would just be a waste of time, since Halo 4 comes out in less than three months.
I do believe the august update is the last one we are getting. To many preparations are being made for H4 for them to be worried about H:R.
If you haven’t already learned the 5sk / pacing that last headshot. I find spamming the first shots till I see a shield pop followed by a paced headshot always works for me. But hey that’s me.

Let me revise my previous post:
No bloom on the DMR does make it kinda hard to land a shot.
What is bad that the amount of bloom you have expand between shots.
Best fix to me would not to be completely remove bloom but rather make the bloom between every shot the same and the amount of time between each shot the same.
That sounds much better.

There was a ZB playlist. Not enough people played it. It’s still in MLG and is an occasional option in Super Slayer.

When you fire your gun repeatedly the ridicule expands and your shots become inconsistent and your bullets spread. Zero bloom means on precision weapons your bullet fires exactly at the same spot every time
ZB gametypes are featured in the Super Slayer and MLG playlists. It is very rare in Super Slayer, but 100% of the gametypes in MLG are without bloom.
It’s for this reason that I can’t stand anything other than MLG.

Super Slayer also has a Zero Bloom gametype, but it has very low weighting (as far as I can tell).
Most people can’t handle ZB. They think it’s just a bunch of “spam” and the person who shoots first always wins. Besides, as nice as it is to actually have your gun fire where you are aiming, Reach’s sluggish base movement and awful strafe creates a whole new set of problems in most situations when you introduce ZB without reducing the RoF. It’s beautiful in MLG gametypes though…if I could just have a radar it’d be all I play.
