It has been a key feature of Halo since it exists. I have been a fan and player since CE and not having the reticle turn red on my PC with controller feels very off, as I cannot judge when aim assist will activate, and it’s not something that I can get used to over time. It provides Xbox players with a clear advantage. Don’t get me wrong, the game is awesome, one of the best clearly, and I get it’s for anti-cheat reasons, but pleaae there must be another way to achieve this without removing RR in PC. Agreed. It’s literally make or break for my campaign purchase at this point. If red reticle is not in the campaign on pc at launch, then I’m out. I have better games to play, ones that respect platform parity between pc and console.

The red reticle died for nothing looking at the current state of the game and its completely inadequate anti-cheat and reporting tools.
Not that the reason they gave for removing it because “easy cheats” had any merit to being with.
