No record of playing Halo 3 in Service Record

When trying to look at my Halo 3 Service Record on Halo Waypoint the following message appears:

“ONI RECORDS INDICATE THAT YOU HAVE NOT YET PLAYED THIS GAME
Head over to the Store to grab a copy of this game. Once you have your marching orders you’ll be ready to gear up and charge into battle!”

I have played well over 10,000 games of Halo 3 back in the day but curious as to why nothing shows up. The same xbox live account has been used my entire xbox live career as well. I can see what I have on my file share from Halo 3 but no logs or stats of ever playing shows up. Every other Halo game I have played has all the correct stats for my service record, it’s only a Halo 3 problem.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Did you change your gamertag since you last played the game? You just need to boot up the game again and your data should sync.

Many other people are having this issue over on the stickied “legacy stats not updating thread”, and it tends to apply to Halo 2, 3, ODST and Reach following a Gamertag change. For some people VmasterRecon’s suggestion works. However, for many others (myself included) it does not.

If it doesn’t work, take a look over at my post on the sticked thread about raising a ticket with support. If you receive a response from support saying that it isn’t their issue, point them in the direction of this thread and state something along the lines of “if it isn’t your issue, then whose issue is it?” as I did and have quoted in the other thread.
