I didnt notice the symbol on the playlists before. I was sure btb was ranked as well…
I’m pretty sure there’s going to be ranked FFA. It would be weird if there wasn’t.
I would think after making a few tweaks to the gametypes and maps that a ranked FFA playlist will make its way in. I expect a playlist update rather soon after launch once some numbers are crunched

I’m assuming that this is from an old build, honestly. Because if you look at the playlists for launch, you can see that there is no Halo 4 in the “team slayer” playlist, yet in this screenshot, there is. I highly doubt that 343 would launch this game without a ranked FFA. Even tho, it is only going to be H2 Ann, its still better than nothing. Also, BTB will also be ranked. I wouldn’t worry about it to much…
Also, yes that is how the ranking worked for ffa in H2. 1st would get the most hidden xp going towards the next level, and 4th would get the minimum to rank up. And accordingly, 5th place would get the minimum to rank down, as 8th place would get the most ranked down. But all this is taken into consideration on your rank, versus the ranks of the others in the lobby.
Ex. if your a 15, and everyone else in the lobby, is 18-24, and you come in last place, according to the algorithm, that is whats supposed to happen, therefore you would go down only slightly. But then again, if you come in 1st, you would rank up more, because you are defeating higher levels.

thats only for the screen leading up to the pre game lobby. its been confirmed that ranks will be visible in the pregame lobby
There will be a few more ranked playlist after launch, i am confident we will all get the ranked playlist we wan’t. We really need ranked doubles,snipers,swat than i will be even more hyped.
