No prompt for April update?

Hey guys after receiving the notice that the april update will install after restarting Halo nothing happens… No update… No prompt. Any ideas?

I haven’t dully figured out the auto turn on feature worth the xbo yet but I know is suppose to download updates while the console is “off” the same thing happened to me bUT it seems to be working as well as it had been so I assume I have the update

If you have a small _ (dash) showing in the top left hand corner of your screen when you boot up MCC, you have the latest update that’s available. Not sure why the dash is there, but I’m hoping it could be a placeholder for a version number for future updates.It will look a bit like this.

If you don’t see that, then try the following steps:

  • Quit all apps on your Xbox until you are back at the dashboard- Hold in the power button on the box for 30 seconds- Unplug the power brick from your Xbox- Reboot your router / modem (doesn’t hurt to do this once in a while)- Once the router / modem has rebooted plug the Xbox power brick back in and switch the box on- Load up MCC and see if it prompts you for an updateIf none of that helps, you may be best talking to Xbox Support and see what they can advise. Make sure to mention these steps that you’ve taken as they will probably ask you to do something similar

Ok I’ve got the dash on the top left hand corner of the screen so I guess it downloaded while I was away. Thanks for the reply guys.
