No promethian -defend- (Before Round 3)

Didn’t they earn from the beta?
Promethean, defence is hard for most random players.

Before wave 3 nobody has more than req 3…

So games end at waves 1&2 because nobody knows how to defend.

And even if a few do they might not have the means to do much.

People don’t know.
Or arent able to get inside.

Which means they can’t “defend”.

Too many enemies.

Actually, it’s fine to go against Covenant forces in early defense rounds, but the Prometheans are the worst.
That being said, there needs to be some tweaking to defend objectives:

  • Give us a chance to get to the base, don’t spawn enemies all around it that immediately begin to capture it. - Stop spawning enemies inside the base. All too often I’ve had Promethean enemies spawn inside the base, decimating any defense that was there. It’s happened a few times with Covenant forces, but they’re easier to deal with. - Move the bigger bases (fortress/garage) further back into later rounds, like round 3.I’m sure there’s more, but I can’t think of any at the current moment.

The one in Round 1 on Escape from ARC is actually pretty easy, since it’s Covenant. Just take an Elite’s Storm rifle and shoot all the Elites with it, someone will get the hint and endless headshots.

Seriously, I made REQ level 5 at the end of Round 1 that way.

Also not enough people pick up the prometheans weapons (or spawn some in) early on. Some of those modded suppressors or bolt shots are actually quite useful and are only level 2-3.

Those need to be later waves.^^^^

They should look at all the losses.
Especially the ones before wave 3 and adjust those objectives.

Either less enemies.
Or instead of saying defend the garage…

Wave starts, and say…
“Incoming Prometheans, at the armory”

Wait 20-30 seconds.
“don’t let them get inside”
-enemies spawn-

or when it’s 25% lost say…
“Get inside to defend!”

First it’s spelled Defend not deffend.

Also I agree on the promethean one. I hate having Knights spawn in with scatter shots inside the base while my team is all req 1 because the game just started -_- happens on Darkstar like clockwork.

Most of the time, defend objectives aren’t too bad before round 3. Covenant are super easy, and prometheans are manageable if you’re team is half decent at killing crawlers before they group up.

I get to req 3 by round 1, besides its actually better to be defending at an early round than be defending at round 4 against crazy aim bot prometheans

It’s not all aim bot.

Their bolts shot and suppressors seek.
(But the light riffle ones…yea, bots)

Or the spire map.
Defend the armory from prometheans first wave.

We drop on the beach, by the time we get there its like 10%+ capped.

I don’t know about you but I’m able to get to req level 5 by round 3…

I’m Goin by average req level. (Not just mine)

On waves 1 and 2<<< (before wave 3 starts)

When only some have 3 req, on wave 1-2.

Some of us have battle riffles, shotguns, and ghosts.(at best)

Some have 3 but haven’t died, or made it to a station.

The defend the armouries are pretty easy, in my opinion. The enemies aren’t that tough and you can mostly just headshot the grunts with your magnum.

You could also scavenge the dead for needlers or plasma pistols

Surprisingly enough, the only way to survive it is by staying in the second floor of the garage or the armory. Gravity hammer is the best weapon against them and plasma casters.

Covenant waves aren’t the problem.
Never failed a covenant defend wave.

They have done that in Escape from Ark. Finally completed the defend on round 4. Still lost the game in round five but it was a win for me because of the successful defend.
