I am trying to finish the Enemy Commendations, and all of them are done with the exception of Warden Slayer. I have been stuck on Level 4 with 6 of 7 Warden kills for weeks now. Even though I have killed Wardens in Warzone Firefight, it won’t progress to Level 5.
Anyone else have a similar experience and know why this is happening?

You have to score the killing blow or it doesn’t count. It doesn’t matter if you get the medal for killing the Boss; the medal is awarded for damaging him.
It sucks but you need that kill shot. They should have made warden assist medals so players wouldn’t be confused if they got the kill or assist. It’s best to time a tank shot right before he dies to get the kill.
Go for the assassinations on him. It’s cheap but works.

Half the time it works for me. Even when I assassinate Warden, the game won’t give me a medal & score even though I preform the killing blow on him.

Usually for me as I’m celebrating my glorious and rare execution of the Warden, some
-Yoink!- kills him in the middle of it and I get an assist.
It has to be a killshot. Back during launch I use to grab a sniper and wait untill he was weak about a sliver of health and take the shot and take the kill
I´m in the same situation, I have tried to complete this commendation for months. You do have to score the kill shot, so if every one is shooting at him it results very hard.
As everyone has said, you need to score the killing shot. I recommend using The Answer.

I tried to use The Answer with an ultra rare damage boost and still someone stole the final shot.
You have to get the last shot.
Fight it with a tank and wait for its hp to be almost gone

As I remember Warden kills don’t count to the Warden commendation for Wz Firefight, It has to be on Normal Warzone (Idk why but) I know this cause I remember getting no Progress on the Warden commendation everytime I killed him on Wz Firefight

When you say “normal” Warzone what do you mean? Legendary?

I mean by Basic Warzone
It’s taking me a while too. But I’ll get it eventually.

Okay, well that makes sense since all I’ve been playing is FF and not getting any Warden kills for quite some time. I know you have to get the kill, but statistically I am pretty certain I should have gotten one by now. Thanks for the info.

Nope thats completely wrong, i completed the majority of my warden commendation in heroic warzone firefight.
Like everyone else has said, just get the killing shot.

Thats more cheap than assassination. But it works. Has happen to me bro. And it is exahusting to go 5 rounds and dont get the kill.
Just keep trying. You’ll get it eventually. I finished my commendation in firefight using tanks on the warden.
