You can’t have bonuses like this. Everybody should be entitled to the same content that is paid for. This literally makes it impossible to get all of the skulls. It isn’t right to change someone’s experience just because they bought a game somewhere else!

Hate pre-order bonuses…I hope we’ll at least be able to unlock the skull(s) in-game, like it was with Halo 4’s pre-order bonus.
OP, chill. There may be pre-order exclusives but there’s two major points you should consider:
- You do not need to buy any of them.
- Even if you buy one and don’t get the other, they’re timed exclusives so eventually everyone gets them! Yaay!

Only one distributor has announced their skull is timed exclusive, my guess is that they all are. Timed exclusives seem to be very popular now and I like it because you get a little something special but every will get to have everything eventually. And I am not sure why you care so much about having all the skulls, the pre order bonuses are not any of the main skulls, they are nice sure, but at least it’s not like they are grunt birthday party.

The retailers say “We’ll sell your game, but you need to give us an incentive so that people will buy it from us over other retailers.”
Because Wal-Mart isn’t going to stock up on Halo if everyone’s just going to go to GameStop to get it.

I agree. Pre-order bonuses can just be plain unfair and unneeded in general.
And unless other retailers (Wal-mart, Target, etc.) get pre-order bonuses, people will be flocking to Gamestop considering the Bandana skull is going to be completely overpowered. Thus resulting in a horrible retailer getting more money than Best Buy or Amazon.
Either way, we’ll be getting them eventually, so it doesn’t matter in the longrun.
