I was looking info about why there is not all skulls available in the game, so after some research I stumbled that you had to pre-order to get bonuses, then after some time all these bonuses will be unlocked (12/12/214). But the issue here is: how do I unlock these bonuses today (after 3-4 years)? I purchased my game from a code digital download, what do I need to do to get all the missing skulls?

I don’t have them, none of the pre-order skulls are unlocked neither available, neither in Halo CEA nor Halo 2 A, that means I don’t have Boom, Bandana, Grunt Funeral, Bonded Pair, I only have Pinata skull, and yes I checked all Halo games, none of them have those skulls

I can’t speak for MCC but I never needed to find grunt funeral to use it with CEA’s original release.
The base game is fully installed and up to date on patches?
Check on the store page too for dlc, I have a skull add-on installed for my game. I can’t remember though if this was from the initial pre-order bonus or after the unlock for everyone.

Yes you need to find the skulls in game to unlock them still. They aren’t just there from the start.

I haven’t touched a single skull and, as far as I’ve played, non-scored skulls (Boom, Piñata, Grunt Funeral, Bandana, etc.) are all available for use upon installation.

Sorry to disagree, but I haven’t the skulls, and there isn’t an add-on or downloadable content for the skulls, the only available add-on is the Halo ODST campaign… Help?

Try reinstalling the game. I can assure you that the first thing I did in campaign was beat Pillar of Autumn with Boom, Piñata, Grunt Funeral, and Grunt Birthday Party all on at once. Not a single skull touched, game freshly installed.

I’m installing the game again, I’ll check later if the skulls are unlocked

I reinstalled the game from the store, and it seems the skulls are still missing… I don’t think my xbox is failing, or the download is failing, maybe the download code? how do I contact a 343 employee to check this problem?

I am having the same problem. I fresh installed a few weeks ago, gathered the skulls in the game and the skulls are still missing from the interface where you should be able to turn them on. Has anything changed on this?

I don’t know, I uninstalled the game and decided to wait for the gamepass release later this year
