No Pre-Ordering

I’m a huge fan of Halo, since CE, and will buy Halo 5. I’m just never going to pre-oder a game again, as long as they’re sold in the state of MCC or AC or Battlefield or… you name it.

Stopping the pre-order will force developers to make a quality product available at launch.

Here is a wonderful article explaining it. http://kotaku.com/5909105/stop-preordering-video-games-please

So please, for the love of god…do not pre-order. Stand strong, us as people can make a difference. I love you 343, but, I need to learn to trust you again.

Happy gaming. Merry Christmas.

K~

I’ve heard about the horror stories thanks to the recent extremely buggy Ubisoft titles.

My last pre-order was the MCC. I’m joining in on you with this.

Good luck.

Pro ordering is just the way of the world now. Throw in the likely preorder bonuses, and the numbers will be even higher.

If “cool” looking spartan armor and 1 month free of live is worth more to a person than a working product than brother that person is a piece of -Yoink-. (just quoting True Detective) :).

But seriously…the temporary goodies are not worth it. All that crap becomes available to the public at some point anyways…why help companies rip us off just for useless incentives. I want a working game, right from the start.

I’m not saying that it’s worth it, I’m saying that’s enough of an incentive for some people to preorder. Outside of that, there is no reason to preorder. Stores will never run out of standard editions, so why preorder? Some people just assume that they will get a better value in doing so, or treat it as a kind of layaway. At the end of the day, the only people that’ll hold off on preordering will be those that have a very strong opinion on the matter.

I will only pre order for limited editions with physical content that I know wont be buggy because you know, physical.
