ive had 3 separate conversations with xbox live technical support trying to resolve this issue and everything they have tried for me still hasnt worked. i get profile sync errors almost every time i get on halo 5, have to smash the A button and start buttons to get past them, then i can get into a game. after the game, i get no post game statistics (the entire screen shows up as dashed lines in every category) and after 2 to 3 games of this, i get ‘retrieving data’ after the game instead of any post game report at all. if i do not quit the build at this point, i get kicked from my fireteam at ‘starting dedicated server’ every time. so far, ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game, did a factory reset on the xbox, and uninstalled and reinstalled all my profiles per tech supports suggestions. nothing is working. this only happens with halo 5. ive tweeted tashi multiple times about the issue as well as the other devs. SOMEONE AT 343 please respond to this. i cannot fix this issue and my fireteam has to wait for me game after game as i quit the build in order to get it to work enough for me to get through another game.
Just make sure your NAT is set to open, you have to mess around with your router settings to make this happen. Playing on a hard line as well, makes sure that you end is working well. Everyone is downloading the update, and the servers are working overtime, so give it some time, and it will work itself out.
ive done all of that. this started 4 weeks ago. i thought it was a fluke but its not stopping. nat is open, hard wired.
