"No Ping to our Datacenters detected" warning

Each and every time I try to press the “Play” button in the “Preview: Marine Bot Slayer”, the game gives me a warning that there’s “No Ping to our Datacenters detected”, and that there’s “Not enough similar players to estimate wait time”. I am properly logged into my XBOX Live account, I can access my friends list, and make purchases on the store. I am also able to load into academy training challenges, but I am unable to play the Bot Slayer preview. Can anyone advise?

I’m living in Indonesia, if that helps at all.

Where do you live? Could it be possible that it’s related to our region?

Right now, server stress tests are going on. These times are:

Friday, July 30 @ 12-2pm & 7-9pm PT
Saturday, July 31 @ 12-2pm & 7-9pm PT
Sunday, August 1 @ 12-2pm & 7-9pm PT

that might explain why you can’t ping the data center. As far as the “not enough similar players” message, I have had that notification while still being able to connect to matches.

No, i think the issue is somewhere else either router or ISP maybe, i switched to my phone’s internet and was able to connect to matches fine, but with my main cable connection i could not, not since ever. The stress tests have nothing to do with it.

With the information that Viikate put forward, I would try a hard reset of your router. I’m not much of a network guy, but it does sound like what Viikate said, and it’s an ISP issue.

I’m having the same problem right now. I’m from Brazil. Supposedly we are in the “Friday, July 30 @ 12-2pm” stress test, since I only tried Infinite after 12, I don’t know if there was connection before. It might just be a problem with too many people trying to access multiplayer, but I’m not counting on that. In Settings - UI - you can enable Network Statistics and ever since I did it I have 0 ms, which seems to be related to our issue.

I tried resetting router, reinstalled, restarted, checked firewall settings all fine but just getting that same error.

Having the exact same problem in EU

With the insight Viikate provided, I decided to give the testing a swing using my phone’s internet and it worked. I’d submit a ticked reporting this issue but for some reason I can’t access the flighting support.

I reset all of my -Yoink- and still am getting the same message?? And I’m trying during peak playing time

Ah, what is your ISP? Mine is First Media. If yours is too, we might be closer to narrowing down an issue. My phone runs on Telkom and I can play when I tether the internet through my phone, so I’m thinking it is an ISP issue.

im having the same issue here. 343 just rolled an update to the technical preview couple of hours ago and the same problem still persists for me. maybe using a VPN might just do it? Just a thought im having

Yes, also using First Media… Okay now this sucks, I never wanted to change ISP because all of my online game runs fine while other friends who uses My Republic and other ISP have issues with Rockstar/Blizzard. Also Telkom with its shady throttling for non gaming connection package. The thing is First Media is ridiculously pricey, and the constant random disconnects and quality of service is crap. Seems now I have a reason to change, Halo is my jam.

One of my other buddies is using First Media as well, but he hasn’t gave the preview a swing yet. If he has issues as well, we’ll have narrowed things down significantly. We can then submit a ticket to hopefully get this fixed.

damn, is this a First Media problem? i’m from indonesia too, also using First Media and currently having this problem as well. Whats weird however, when i tried to play the flight on my Xbox one, i was able to play the game with no problem using the same lan cable thats connected to the same router. It just wont work on my PC for whatever reason.

EDIT: Just connected to a vpn and it seems to be working, you guys should try it

Yeah, my friend has no problems with First Media, I’m back to square one.
