Dear, 343 I know that you’re probably not going to read this, but on the off chance you do please heed my warning! Do no put perks in Halo 4! think about it. All of the other halo’s had such great success, halo 1, halo 2, halo 3, not a bad thing to be said about them there would at times be over a million players on halo 3! But since Halo : Reach came out the player base has greatly dropped and I think that it was because of the perks as that was the most major change in the halo franchise! Please don’t force the perks upon us!
PLEASE SUPPORT!
They are not perks, they are modifications. They are not nearly as game-changing as they are in other fish-type games. Nothing you can say now will get rid of them, so learn to love them!
Reach had perks?
Are you referring to Armor Abilities?
Because those aren’t going away, but are being improved and balanced.
What perks?
I’m almost totally convinced people like OP are trolls. And if not, they shouldn’t waste time here complaining about a feature which they know absolutely nothing about.
Halo has never had perks…
So no. You don’t have my support.
I’m assuming perks as in AA, they’re here to stay.

Adapt or fall behind bro, Charles Darwin.
I’m guessing by “perks” you mean specializations. I’m not too thrilled about the specializations either. They may not be as game-changing as ones in other FPS titles, but they are game-changing nonetheless. Not to mention that (unlike AAs) specializations can’t be countered b/c there is no way of telling who has which ones, they’re just designed to make specific things easier for a player and harder on their opponent.
There are a lot of new things I’m loving about Halo 4, but this is one of those things I just absolutely hate and I’m hoping they just stick to Infinity gametypes along w/ personal ordinance.
people are so blinded due to thinking it will be the same as call of duty…
There not perks there modifications such as 1 more clip of ammo or +1 grenade
I’m the only one who want’s AA and specializations to get rid off the game. I just dont like the idea of people starting with different gun’s and AA. Not to mention specializations.
I just want a game where everybody start’s with same gun. I know that this can sound litte bit of “Mainstream”, but I honestly dont want to know that somebody beat me on “gun on gun” fight, just because he had better AA or specialization.
Yes I know that these “Perks” are not gamechanger, but if there is a perk with one grenade, it could and sometimes will be gamechanger’s.
If I got something misspelled or sentence structure is odd. Please tell me.

Don’t use the word specalizations as that is a completely different thing then tactical packages and support packages that hasn’t even been revealed to us yet.
Anyways tactical packages are things like fire power that allow you to spawn with two primaries in a loadout.
Support packages are things like a small shield boost.
Specializations have been announced but we don’t know what they are all we know is that you get that after maxing out your rank or class, something to that effect anyways.
Now I’m not entirly sure I got all that right so please some one correct me if I’m wrong (i might of mixed up support and tactical).
There are no “perks” in the game.

Fish-type games. Love it! Haha

HAHAH yeah, notice how the control scheme that is just like COD (melee on Right Stick, grenade on RB) is called “fish sticks”.
OP if you dont like the changes, then stay in the playlists that dont include them

These modifications or “perks” aren’t going to be as, well, “game-breaking” to you as various perks are found in other games. They will play their role in Halo 4. Have faith in 343i.

There was a classic playlist on Reach, I recall. I played it a couple times. It was fun, but pretty stiff. In the end, it was taken down with no big fuss, since it only ever had a couple hundred playing it at a time. As opposed to the tens of thousands playing actual Reach.
