No Perfection medal for joined game?

I am just curious that’s all.

I was matched into a BTB battle in progress, I went 18 and 0. I was granted the commendation for perfection but not the Medal ? Is this because I joined a game that was already in progress?

The Perfection medal and annoucment at the end of the match has been removed and instead we got the commendation.

Correct me if I’m mistaken, but in halo 4 perfection isn’t a medal any more, its just a commendation.

This actually bothered me. The most cherrished medal in Halo. Gone… Much like EXTERMINA… No they mashed X.
