In testing and training grounds where you’re supposed to “train” there is magnetism. You can see it when your reticule turns red when over an enemy, In PVP while through matchmaking there is no magnetism making the game feel impossible to hit anything despite the “feeling” like im dead on the person. In PVP your reticule never turns red, no matter how close you are to an individual using a BR, AR, Bulldog, Pistol, etc.
This isnt a bug or anything, its disabled on PC cause you can right code so the game fires when the reticale turnes red (according to 343). You are getting the same amount of aim assist as you normally would if using controller, the aimer just wont turn red

It sure doesnt feel that way, also, why would they set training to be that way and not PVP when that is supposed to be there for individuals to learn the game? How can you learn the game when you’re being taught wrong from the get-go?

oh I dont disagree as you can easily right code to shoot whenever aim assist is triggered. Though Im also not an engineer so I dont know which is best or most common. The reason I think it feels off is cause of that lack of visual feedback. The aims assist is still though (though its weak in general in infinite) but given the lack of red reticle you think its not.
Why its there in training but not pvp? no idea. Flight oversight maybe
