No one talks in halo 4

No one talks in halo 4 i am the only one with a mic plugged in in the lobby i just get lonely lol.

We all knew this since party chat was implanted. you’re late.

I see this a lot too. I’m often times in a party regardless, but it would be nice to speak outside of the xbl party every now and again. I remember those days when you couldn’t be in a party chat when playing certain playlists. Hopefully they can bring that back… hopefully.

Not all people are worth talking/listening to, least of all on Live. I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with those kinds of people and it’s kept me in party chat ever since. I’m sure it’s about the same story for everyone else that doesn’t talk on XBL.

I always try to start a convo, but all I get is silence, even with people that have mics, am I a freak or something. lol

but no one i play with has the party chat emblem on there gt. everyone i play with got no mics.

Some people don’t need or want to talk to people, as someone said before. Some people feel that it really adds to the experience, which it does, whether that be good or bad is also just part of the experience. Its almost a shame that some have let the behavior and actions of others change their potential experiences with people who aren’t -Yoinks!-.

hope not. i tried to coordinate with my team on exile, first thing i got was n word this, slur that. felt like i was playing mw3.

Everyone on xbox live are dickheads, almost everyone, And adding the fact that 343 bans for everything, users take precaution.

I think in europe the main reason why nobody talks, is that with the exception of the brits, no one is a native english speaker.
And even with the Brits their language is not exactly the “school” english we were taught.

…Why would i want to talk to randoms? I rather talk to people that i know, not that spoiled little kid from a generic suburban area here in the States or that -Yoink!- who frequents -Yoink!- while plasma pistoling Mantis’s because he didn’t get to it first.

No thanks. I’ll keep my silence.

i just sing bonnie tyler songs until someone responds

works like a charm

No ranks, no incentive to communicate to help the team win.

either you find a party of 4 or you lone wolf it.

Back in the day everyone would talk, but then again back in the day everyone wanted to win badly.

I never get anybody to chat with, and if some has got there mic on its some punk trolling, singing or talking about there recreational smoking habits, back in the day, there where tons of dudes talking and playing as a team. hard to find a good team player out there eh.

yes…
the homophobia, the slurs and bigotry. such winning ways.

I wish more people would talk without party. When I play I’m not in a party but would love to strategerize in matchmaking and Spartan Ops. If anything just gab about Halo itself. So if you feel the same thing friend me: Cobolt

Why communicate when there is no incentive to win?

This is why a visible rank system is important. Never had an issue with mics 40 high in H3 TS

Well actually we all like to win and usually try for it. But its only the crazyness induced by digital numbers next to your GT that makes everyone do everything in their power to win.

AKA plug in mics

It’s sad that there are so few people using a mic. I am guilty of using party chat, but have lately made a serious effort to use the game chat, even when playing with friends.

If I am by myself and the only mic in game, then I still try to say something over the mic, such as if I know where a power weapon is or if someone is on the way to a flag. It is not uncommon for someone to plug a mic in after they realize there’s someone else with a mic that’s not a tool.

There are actually a lot of decent people playing. If you have a mic please use it.

dude its just people being dumb on xbl. If it honestly gets under your skin, I dont think you are emotionally ready for an M rated game.
