My girl got me this game for Christmas and I am sure I am not the only one who got this as a gift over the holiday season. Really sad that 6 days would make a difference.
Very upset that there is no Firefight. Would easily drop some cash down for that regardless.
Edit: Not going to drop down money on a ‘thank you’ dlc. This game was broken for far longer than the cut off date.

If by 100x better you mean not being able to get into any matches at all and if by some miracle you did manage to get into one you would be dropped less than a couple minutes into it or had extreme lag to the point of being completely unplayable for at least 3 months AFTER the cutoff date and not being able to reliably play online coop with a friend without the entire game crashing to the dashboard midway through a mission even to this day than it is absolutely fixed and 100x better than day 1. It doesn’t matter if someone bought it day 1 or 3 months after it came out, the game was still unplayable and in some ways is still unplayable, whether they looked it up and found it was broken or not is completely irrelevant, the game was still being sold and they bought the game and it was/is broken, the date of purchase doesn’t change that fact.
There is also the fact that NO ONE should EVER have to look up a game to see if it actually works, it should work and if it doesn’t they should be compensated for it. I personally bought this game with my xbox one with xmas money on december 26th after not having an xbox for several years so didn’t frequent sites that talked about xbox. I mainly bought this game and my xbox to relive all the halo games with a friend, completely unaware that what i bought was completely broken. To this day i am still unable to play coop with my friend due to the game crashing to desktop EVERY SINGLE TIME half way through the mission. Six months since i paid $60 for this game and it is STILL not fully playable, why should i not get the same compensation (even less so without the month and nameplates) as someone who bought it december 19th just because i had to endure this mess a single week less than them?
This game is still not completely fixed and if it ever does get completely fixed it wouldn’t even matter since pretty much everyone has already moved on and will never come back to this game and even if they do most of those people who come back will just leave again when Halo 5 comes out. ODST should be 100% free for all current and future buyers of MCC to try and pull old players back in as well as new players so those who are still around have people to play with.

The same could be said for the people who think other people don’t deserve the compensation simply because they bought the game a week or two after them while the game was still completely unplayable.

I should get this free stuff too, im from Australia and a week ago i spent 2 1/2 hrs im a matchmaking lobby trying to find a game (thank god i have skyrim on pc)
and right now i cant even make it to the bloody playlist menu with out having a “AWAITING PRIVILEGES” message come up.
so yea the is running not just 100x better but probably 1000x better!

They new a lot of people (a lot of kids probably) will buy it or get it at christmas time. So why not get some more cashmoneyswagmoney from all those people?
The fact alone that they sell something and get more money for anything that has to do with Halo TMCC is completly disgusting in my opinion.
Why not just give that ODST -yoink- for the fans for free, for the few people that actually play and support that game/Halo. Does it really matter when they bough it?

I bought the game before the cutoff date, I just didn’t want to play it until it was “fixed”, do I still not deserve the compensation?
I “supported” the game as you’re saying, I even have my receipt to prove I bought it early.
So I should have put up with the total mess that was MCC v1.0? No. And I seriously doubt many people are going to be willing to hand over MORE cash to 343 for a probably shoddy port of ODST.

-Yoink- of here with those kind of comments. The game was largely umplayable until March. The cut off date for compensation being December 19th was BS. It assumes the game was fixed when it wasn’t fixed in the slightest. He has a right to demand compensation for a product that didn’t work like it was promised just as I am for having the same botched product at launch.
I am still expecting them to announce at E3 that everyone will get ODST for free since the game still isn’t fixed for everyone, especially for Australians. Plus we still don’t have fully working dedicated servers, only 3 ranked playlists, and no ranked 16 player BTB. So this game is not fixed and not “exactly as we remember”. Despite what people want to think. So yes everyone should get ODST for free.

Exactly why I wont be buying H5 at launch if at all. TMCC is not exactly as I remembered it. 
I got this game and played it on my birthday (7 days after release), and have been trying/playing this game since then. In my OWN PERSONAL opinion, this game truthfully is a scam. Here are my reasons why:
As said before, this is my own personal opinion of this game. Also, not sure if you’ve seen this guys have seen this video, but this guy makes a VERY good arguing point
(Note - MCC has gotten to the point where I now vent about it on forums)
