Playlist distribution in Halo 4 needs to be equally spread between competitive and casuals. This was the achilles heal of Reach, equal to the terrible launch maps.
Ultra competitive types were forced to play with the casuals in Reach. How is that positive? It is bad for both crowds. Casuals get destroyed and become self conscious about their KDR. Competitive players get bored of continually ripping teams with thumbless guests.
Social catering needs to be toned down a notch, allowing competitive gamers to play to their style and not be limited to the table scraps that Reach provided. (arena)
Halos 2-3 had much better playlist balance. You cannot argue against this because its factual.
I am asking that 343 address this situation publicly. Confirming that playlists will be more evenly distributed like previous games, pre-Reach. This would generate MUCH hype without revealing too much (story, graphics, sandbox info, etc)

Until people got bored, made new accounts and just tore up brand new players thus making the system null.

Not to mention the using of game exploits to rank up those accounts.
The developers know the problems that visible skill based ranking cause. Until they find away to eradicate the rampant cheating that takes place, the problems caused greatly outweigh the benefits.
