No More Specialization Codes?

So, someone referenced me to the Xbox twitter and I found this:

Not all users will receive codes? What about those of us who should have received the code and didn’t?

I’ve been playing since the launch, I’m over 17 years of age and I live in the United States.

Oh and the best topping on the cake, 343 hasn’t released an announcement date for when the specializations will become available for everyone.

Why in the world would you set a cap at 70 on leveling up when a person who plays consecutively, with double xp codes, could accomplish that in a couple of weeks and you have no set date for the release to everyone else? Seems like poor marketing management to me.

Oh and the other excuse: We have no more codes.

So wait, you have a set limit of codes that could be distributed and were? How did you determine this cap? How did you determine who would get a code and who wouldn’t? (I’m referring to those of us who were eligible and didn’t get one.)

Even better, we have some people who got another specializations code. Someone sent me a message offering to trade a code for double xp. I’m not going to go out to buy Mountain Dew and Doritos to further support their marketing ploy just to trade for a code. That’s just stupid.

I want my code and I want it now. Or better yet, just make it available to everyone as an update who’s playing now.

I would’ve helped SOMEONE who plays Halo 4 a lot if a friend of mine never lied about playing Halo 4. I told him that I was gonna give out a code to someone on the waypoint forums and he said that he wanted it. I said that I was only giving it to someone that plays Halo 4 a lot. He said that he played it a lot, so I gave it to him. Now I regret giving it to him, because the only games he play is NBA and borderlands. He’s also on SR11 and he had the game for 4 weeks.

I’d probably be capped at level 70 right now if I didn’t have finals this week and exams last week. I was looking forward to playing and completing the rest of the specializations over my Christmas break; but, now I have to play sparingly so I don’t get capped and lose all future progress.
