Has no one else played enough Halo since the first game to be dead tied of Red Vs Blue? This thing is driving me up the wall with anger. What we need is to have our own spartans colors show up in team games. I’ve either been Red or Blue in Halo and i’m tired of it. You lose all Detail about a person’s Spartan because all you see after a while playing Halo is just RED and Blue. When you’re fighting someone you don’t notice anything about that person but REd or Blue, everything goes out the window but Red Vs Blue. What the F is the point of having customization options if you can’t even see anything on the spartans because after a while your mind is trained to look for either Red or Blue and kill. May as well never had changed the armor or add options to change any of it because you can’t see any of it if you’re a real player because you’re too busy killing and looking for Red or Blue. Considering how far they’ve come along already with this Cheap Red Vs. Blue story i hope they can AT LEAST add a gametype where we can run around with our own colors. I don’t want some Cheap Juggernaunt Game or some other made up non competative game where you can see your own actual colors, i want a Team Slyer or some CTF a real game with our own colors. By owr own colors i don’t mean Purple Team, or orange team. No i mean TEam 1 and Team 2 made up of everyone with the colors they’ve picked for their spartans when customizing them. Screw forcing colors on people this isn’t the 90’s video games have been around for what feels like FOREVER. Halo has been around for 10 years and if you can’t tell what team you’re on by looking at the tv screen, well i haven anything nice to say.

Funny, they already have something like this. It’s called Rumble Pit. You should try it sometime.

Even other spartans in the fiction are different with different colors and armors. WE get non of that in MP. It would help MP feel more personalized or at least your spartan would seem more personalized because when your Spartan is forced to either Red Or Blue then it isn’t your spartan anymore it’s now a Red or Blue spartan then at the end of the game it becomes yours again. I also dilike that they took down the emblems. Who’s going to notice an Emblem on my spartans chest the size of a dime?! I don’t know what it is about modern games but for the past few years it feels like they’ve been moving forward by taking things out of games. Whatever i’m a big Halo fan and an adaptive gamer, i’ll get over this issue is suppose or it will just submerge and resurface when the next Halo game comes out. I’ve been asking for our own colors since the end of Halo 2 and every new game brings up my need for my own color in MP. I was stupid to think that because i’ve been playing this game for so many years that my opinion actually mattered or that i can do anything to change something in the game. HA! You guys don’t listen to the real fans. The only people who really get heard are those pampared gamers they call “Pros” in MLG.

And on top of that i said i want a team game with our own colors. What’s going on here? Halo really is filled with a bunch of kids isn’t it. All the gamers that were on Halo since part 1 all left for that Brainwashing COD game. Anyone here born before the 90s? I’d like to hear your opinion.

I agree OP! We should have something like terrorists vs police, or something. It’d be cool. Since terrorists are meant to be sneaky and stuff their colour should blend in with the maps, and police should stick out like a sore thumb because they always do.

Wow. All i’m asking for is for our own Spartans colors to show up in a game like FFA or Firefight. And lok at all the Bull im getting. See i knew something was up with the Halo community. I was wondering why games are filled with guests, quitters, team betryals for the sniper and filled with people who play like they’ve never played a video game before in their lives. WTf have you kids done to my game? I’m one very disappointed Halo fan. It isn’t all your faults though, You’re being chemically dumbed down by the crud they feed us here in America. Why do think think most people are hive minded people who say the same thing other people say online. Non of you guys can think for your selfs or form your own idea’s You’re just sheep people who do as your are told and accept what you’ve givin without question. It’s koo you guys keep your RED Vs. Blue. It doesn’t stop me from sending you kids to the respawn screen.

It’s cuz your dumb. And you love having your hand held for you, you like people and games thinking for you. Why do you think sooooo many people play COD? Because that game plays itself for you. Do you really have to be told what team you’re in by color? No as if you can’t have a Nav point over your head. The same Nav point that tells you your teammates name and Service number. There are no real Halo fans here. Just a bunch of kids who grew up with it and it’s all you guys know. You guys prob can’t play any other game because the teams aren’t in Red Vs. Blue.

Ok, how can you say there are no real halo fans here? I have been with the game since halo 2, and played halo one long before CEA came out. In my spare time i used to look at the halo back story, my armor set upt is ODST of MKV because they are the most bad***. Who are you to say we are kids, i was born during the 90’s. You have to realise the imbalance in gamelay. I cant imagine how many times in COD, that i have been shot in the *** by teamates, and shot teamates. They use red vs blue so that people dont get confused momentarily by who the Yoink! is on their team. Come on man, have some sense. They use red vs blue so team killing is brought to a minimum, and so that people have quality amongst their teams. Can you imagine sniping? How many times would someone have their head blown off by a teammate, or mistake an enemy for a team mate? It would be flipping gungsho.

If you want your armor your going to have to stick with free for all. However, your right in one way. There should be at least a way for some spark of color to be descernable like the armor detali of halo 3.

If we had our own colors in team matches, how would we know who was on who’s team?

Played a lot of CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3, and a decent amount of Reach.

Bought an Xbox with CE and been playing Halo ever since. So it has been 10 years for me.

I am definitely not young in that regard. I am 24, am in my career, and am getting married. I think I am old enough to know how to put thoughts together. Although, there are times when I have too many thoughts rolling around in my head and it comes out in a jumbled mess, but I think I do a decent job of getting it to be readable.

And yet, isn’t it funny how they still break up their people into different teams and name them colours? Red Team, Blue Team, Green Team, etc.

You can still personalize your highlights and accents on the armour. The base is the only thing that is red/blue. And with all of the different options now, you can have lightning around your body, a gold EVA helmet, pestilence, etc.

I will agree with you on this point.

I am glad you are a Halo fan and an adaptive gamer as apparently, we will all have to adapt a little more to Halo 4 it seems.

I just don’t think it is that big of a concern. Most people don’t care what colour they are, as long as they can play the game.

The term “Pro” is an abbreviated form of the word “Professional”. This word implies getting paid for playing a game. People play the game of basketball, and yet you need to be a professional in order to get paid.
