Bottomline I love Living Dead playlist. But I’m getting so sick of Humans having the complete upper hand. Humans have pistol, shotgun, sprint, and the radar. Zombies have Sprite and sword that is it. I really feel that they need to take out the radar to balance out Living Dead a little more to give zombies a chance. I feel that people should have to depend on their screen and not the radar to see where zombies are coming from. I mean swat doesn’t have radar. Why have it in Living Dead. 343 really need to balance it out a little and give zombies a better chance at getting to the humans. Taking away the radar would be a good start.
Sure would make it a more frightening experience.
But if you play sneaky and move slowly radar invisibility is already achievable.
I love the Idea but I’m sure they’ll just compromise and make a Gametype that has radar and one that doesn’t and stick it in the playlist.
Humans: Shotgun, Pistol, Sprint, radar.
Zombies: Sword, Sprint, radar that detects anyone within range crouching or not.
If anything if a human gets a drop on zombie its their fault.
Though no radar would be more fun, only if its for both sides, and no promethian vision.
(Sorry if spelling is bad)
I’ve played so many infection gametypes in customs which play heaps better than living dead in matchmaking. No radar is a start.
It would be nice to balance things out but I don’t think they’ll do that. It’s by far the most popular playlist right now and if they took away some things I think people would stop playing it.
Simply because they couldn’t get a ton of easy kills anymore.
Right, the humans completely have the upper hand. Except, you know, for not respawning as a human.

I agree nothing can scare a player more than a sudden appearence of a Zombie

Hehe… Made me thirsty
Well… personally I’d argue the real problem for Living Dead in Reach (also my favourite playlist btw) was that quite a few maps are just too wide open, given they were mostly taken from Campaign (which was also a bit too open in places), allowing Spartans to zoom on their pistols and take out Zombies from long range - often necessitating massed charges from Zombie players to try to whittle down the Spartans until they can’t put up such a co-ordinated defence.
That seems a lot less likely to be the case in Halo 4 since multi-player maps are being specifically designed for multi-player, indeed Haven and Adrift could well suit Living Dead quite nicely being close-range and close to mid-range maps.
My question about Living Dead, is why does everyone say the humans have the upper hand, even though the zombies win 99% of games? ill agree that the score system is messed up, but if anything we should be making it harder for the zombies, not the humans.

I wish i had Sprite as a Human.
I would wait to see how it plays out a bit in Halo 4 before we change anything. The maps will be different, so that might help enough.
I would enjoy no radar. Makes things more intense. The Humans get enough advantages, anyway.
For some specific matches and maps, it might actually shake things up a little. But I don’t want radar removed for the entire experience as a whole.
Would have to turn on my cereal mode. This wouldn’t be a game anymore. This is now life or death. I’ll have to be extra cautious and aware of my surroundings.

Zombies can’t be seen on radar if they’re crouching. But If the move too quickly while crouching, they appear on radar.
Wait, are you talking about what you want?
