Is it me or are the medals no longer shown on screen, only in the post game lobby? i really hope this was just a place holder at PAX? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk3gP_f8fm8&feature=g-u-u at 3:39 his multikill medal doesn’t show up? only text?
343 wouldn’t do that to use would they? Taking away medals would be just wrong. There should be just as many medals as there were in Reach, maybe even more.

I saw that, I wasn’t sure what to think about it. I was hoping it was a place holder. The only reason I can think 343i would remove them from the screen is to eliminate some screen clutter, but I still don’t think that would be a good enough reason.
If i remember correctly, they said it was only for that build and will be in the final game.
Also you can see what the medals look like at the end game scoreboard.

David Ellis said it was a bug and will be fixed for the final game.
Probably just left it out of the build.

Medals weren’t there because the engine probably couldn’t support them with all of the extra stuff from Pax.
I’m just glad that the medals look like medals again, and not all of them have that blue color to them. The medals looks BA by the way.

The ability to remove HUD elements, including medals, would be nice.
Medals are cool and all, but I like a clean screen and I can see my medals after the match anyway.
I would like that as an option; I would keep the medals on but take out those stupid words
I would prefer no medals on screen, no words, no score. Just me and my weapons, and the team duking it out at our best until the final kill, completely unaware of the impending end of the game. To me that would be awesome, sure, keep the scoreboard mapped to the “back” button so you can check it as you get a chance, but otherwise keep the screen clear for the killing. To me that would be a stellar improvement, less eye candy more game play

in my opinion, that just wounldnt be Halo… halo has always been that exciting arena style shooter, nothing better then looking at your multikill show up on screen.
