it had 1,000 population the last time i looked at it lol if you want your fav playlists to stay, play them.
King of the Hill will be in the crimson map pack playlist, play that for now
King of the Hill is inside DLC Playlist.
I never really played KOTH so no big deal, wasn’t popular so Majority rules.
I know it will be back because it has its own commendations. I’m also upset with the community. KotH is my favorite playlist. Obviously there isn’t many people who share that opinion since the population is so low. KotH is the only playlist that if you play by yourself you can actually have pull and can win. I need less than 50 wins to get the KotH victory master commendation. I really hope it doesn’t take long for 343 to put it back as its own playlist.
The problem I see, is the lack of Professionalism behind it.
Removing a list is fine, even permanently (although permanent KOTH removal would make me quite sad) however when Daily Challenges have INCLUDED KOTH and KOTH is not available to everyone - that causes the problem.
Right now I hear KOTH is in the Crimson DLC listing - which means you gotta go buy the DLC to get the KOTH - which means to keep up with daily’s you gotta fork out the DLC money.
343 Needs to start thinking about it’s players and not like every other company. Sure, we know you want to make money - but FORCING DLC on players is not an acceptable means of getting it.
Make a good game, add amazing DLC to expand the game - get pure profit and a huge player base. Easy and simple, yet every company is just focusing on throwing a game out - patching it as needed because it wasn’t done or fully tested, then adding DLC to boost sales/profit margin - sometimes including things in DLC that were SUPPOSED to be in the base game. (not naming the game or company here, but that ticked me off)
Back to 343 - stand out, show your listening and not just another ‘big company’ ready for our money - not for our playing.
To those that never played it because you think K:D is important - think of it this way, I rank up 6x faster then you on average playing it, why? Because every game is worth around 2k exp, plus your actual work into it. Got grenades maxed out? how bout AR? Great place to do it - hill forces teams to go for one spot - which you can bombard with shots. Easy Multi kills, Grenade kills, and even plasma pistol kills. Working up those kills will get you gear and ranks faster then sitting on a hill with a sniper going for K:D.
K:D is a thing of the past, get with it. Even MLG agree now. Why? Think of the last game in MLG when you have $10,000+ hanging in the balance of 1 game. Winning is ALL that matters in that game. Losing means you go home with no money, so who cares if your K:D was amazing - you still LOST THE MONEY. Team play is more important, always has been for me - and now most everyone else is catching on.
K:D was good back in games that didn’t have real objectives beyond “Plant or Defuse the bomb” Now FPS are SO MUCH MORE - it’s time to evolve with the game, or get left behind.
High K:D + Loss = You suck.
Low K:D + Win = your amazing keep up the team work.
High K:D + Win = Your team is amazing - consider keeping them.
Low K:D + Lose = Maybe consider a different loadout for that type of game, or a better team not focused on it’s K:D.
I couldn’t agree more with Kissker. In an objective based game, THE OBJECTIVE is what counts. All you K:D boosters are only lying to yourself. Wait until you jump into slayer and watch your K:D plumit 
I don’t understand why there is not just ONE onjective playlist that includes CTF, Oddball, King of the Hill, and whatever other obj gametypes there are.
It scares me that 343 can’t even get the playlists right.WHERE IS MY TEAM SNIPERS?!?
