Halo Reach would be much better if they took out the community made maps in all of the playlists. I want to play on normal maps like countdown, boardwalk, etc!!
Dude, after grinding away for over a year on the same maps, I welcome community made maps, but I like having the old ones around too. Welcome to Waypoint =)
It’s not the fact that community maps are in matchmaking, its the fact that 343/bungie chose poor maps over good ones.

Is there such thing as an Infection map that doesn’t have a “spot” where only the living can get and camp, without infected being able to get there?
I don’t mind community made maps, but they better have been tested first.

You don’t like community maps? Fine. Is your complaining going to change anything? No.
Only put community maps in Invasion, Action sack and Living Dead. Period. And I’m not talking about 343’s half -Yoinked!- “spooky base” and etc.
community maps in MM is a good thing.
- they can be 100X better then the crap that came with the game
- people can play on new maps without paying for anything
- they allow for a much much wider selection of maps instead of being stuck to the same ones that get old after a while.
the only problem is actually picking good community maps, there are a lot of good ones out there hiding in the thousands of crap ones, finding them is a little tricky …
Community maps add fresh new flavor to the matchmaking. I actually have quite a liking for that Map Trident, but i don’t see it often. That wide open side passage with the cover available channels combat so well.
I dont’ see any reasonable reason to limit the game to just default map settings.
