These are really small things that 343 could have overlooked in Reach and something I really hope they recognize and implement in time for Halo 4. I thought both of these features were subtle yet great features in Reach’s multiplayer.
I can see how they could possibly debate the inclusion of the 3D motion tracker since that is a gameplay affecting feature, but I don’t see how they could have looked at the room names displayed above your radar and thought that was a feature that negatively affected Reach’s multiplayer. No more making up and remembering absurd call outs or frantically jumbling your words trying to tell your teammates where you are receiving fire from.
Hope this thread didn’t come across totally annoying since I know the forums have been a total whine-fest today at times. Anyways, anyone else have thoughts on this?

How can you look at extremely concise gameplay footage of something that won’t be released for at least another 6 months and assume it’s an unalienable truth?
If by 3d motion tracker, you mean the ability to tell if someone is above or below you, I think it is implemented in the First Look video. It at least appears that way.
