Halo infinite should have 0 microtransactions because that would just take away from the halo reach style customization system and I dont need to tell you why microtransactions suck
I’m sure we got a confirmation about there being no reqs right?

No real money lootboxes, I’m pretty sure. Doesn’t mean microtransactions aren’t going to be in the game.
Also would keep my eye out for DLC, considering how 343 talks about Halo: Infinite being less of a game in itself and more of a platform for Halo’s future.

I pretty sure someone said something along those line, yet I cannot remember exactly. I do wonder how they will decided to make post launch rev. Halo 5 did very well in that department and I doubt they will ignore that fact completely.

Idk about zero. They got to make money from something and I think paid expansions will only hurt the game unless story based. I do hope it won’t hurt customization though, Halo 5 took a big hit cause of REQ’s. Maybe weapon skins and armor attachments? A few special armor sets? Just kinda shooting in the dark.

well Season passes like Destiny 2 Model seem very trendy at the moment wouldn’t put it past them to do something like that.
Halo Infinite is supposed to be the platform for Halo for the next ten years. I’m almost certain that there will be microtransactions. What’s being purchased is the question.
I honestly didn’t care about reqs being in game.
The problem is I didn’t want to play Halo 5 long enough to unlock all the variations on the same armor with slightly different skin patterns on them because:
1.) Armour was -Yoink-
2.) Game wasn’t fun enough to grind like that
3.) Warzone wasn’t fun until firefight so I never cared to use the cards
Make a full fledged firefight with both hardcore mode (no reqs) and req mode.
Make better armor and unlocks.
Make It less overpriced for a pack using irl money for the suckers that will buy them especially if there will be more unlocks.
MAKE A GOOD GAME PEOPLE WILL CARE TO UNLOCK -Yoink- IN.
Yeah sorry, but it’s all but been confirmed that Microtransactions will be a thing. That being said, they also stated that “Loot Boxes” - like the ones in Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2 - won’t be purchasable with real money. So what these MTX’s take the form of remains to be seen.
No lootboxes at all even if they are earned through gameplay, its going to be so lame to not have any of the armor mean anything. If you had hyabusa in H3 it meant something.
As long as we don’t go back to buying map packs
I know I’m gonna be crucified for this. But I dont mind microtransactions as long as they are ONLY direct buys. NO LOOTBOXES. And I’d like them to be exclusive to that. Like you can only buy specific armor sets and whatnot.
i have no problem if there adding microtransactions in halo infinite only if its costmectic then i have no problem with it.
so long its not about pay to win version like the REQ packs in halo 5 that was going to far since it was not fair for warzone players that you can have a lot off cards by paying real money for it.
but if its only costmectic like a emblem or so then i have no problem with it.
I prefer cosmetic microtransactions and weapon skins. Before having to buy maps or dlcs.
