No mention of Doubles returning in this Com Update

I read the latest Community Update today. There’s no mention in it about Doubles coming back, and replacing the current 2v2 Competitive playlist.
I am just curious. How many people actually prefer this 2v2 ‘Competitive’ playlist to the regular Doubles?

I have some friends who love to rock the 2v2 playlist whenever it swings around.

If I played doubles (I don’t), I absolutely would prefer the stripped down version.

I would much rather play HCS style slayer compared to regular.

I played an H2BR match the other day where an opposing player had 5 Spartan charge kills. Any gametype that removes that is aces in my book.

I play doubles all the time and I am not a fan of the 2 v 2 competitive gameplay. I mentioned my anger in this new type of gameplay and my post got written up as spam. In all honesty, I wish they could at least have both versions because I love playing the regular doubles version. I recognize I am not great at doubles and the new version makes it much worse for me to play and I just don’t enjoy it as much anymore. Anyways, that is just my opinion!!

I am for keeping it competitive for Arena and offering original in social. Doubles is the most attend game type at the Micro Soft store lans.

I don’t think they can have both at the same time I guess since they kinda serve the same purpose that is 2 vs 2. The population is already kinda low. And they did say they were planning to streamlining the playlists even further due to low population.

There is no reason we can not have both. Some of these gametypes are awful and they stick around. I quit playing halo because doubles was removed. Frankly, we suck and cant hack 2v2. Bring back DOUBLES!
