Halo 4 will still be hated on in some way after the release just like the other Halo games.
This can be proven from what has happened in the past.
Everything that 343i/bungie have released in the past has always had complaints no matter what they are.
Halo: CE was seen to be slow and boring and lacked in xbox: live (Though I personally think it is an exception)
Halo 2 was hated on the way it was changed from CE with dual wielding and change of armour (halo2sucks.com etc)
Halo 3 was hated on it’s gimmicky equipment and lack feel towards the halo experience. Servers were buggy to.
Halo 3: ODST was complained at for the lack of content and just reselling halo 3 without the campaign.
Halo: Reach was hated on it’s AA’s, Bloom and lack of colour in forge. AA’s and bloom were only introduced because a lot of people asked for them. Most people hated it because of simple change.
Halo: CEA was criticize for not fixing any of the original bugs, sneaking in fall damage, and not feeling like the original halo experiance from some people. The Reach Multiplayer should of also included the reach maps like in odst. (sorry if I was contradicting myself with odst’s complaint). I don’t understand the the logic in the community when they ask for CEA to be just like CE when people still complain that they should add more to the original gameplay in result in changing the original experience.
So. Lets face it, Halo 4 will still be hated on after the release even if it just rehashes halo 3 OR reach OR removes all of the hated content OR becomes a new game OR contain features from all halo games!
Personally, I don’t care if they return AA’s or other despised content because I don’t constantly care ONLY about 4v4 competitive matchmaking. I look more abroad to general decisions and ask myself if they make good long term potentials (especially in custom games and forge).
Though there are some minor visual floors, I think Halo 4 is looking amazing so far.
