No mammoth in M.P...bu..bu.. D:

We know all the maps and there’s nothing nearly Sandtrap Fat Large to even fit such a beast.

But why? What does Halo 4 gain by not allowing such an awesome thing to be in M.P?

Did 343 not play Pirate Wars? Did they not see the fun Elephants brought to Sandtrap. How it turned the map into something dynamic and fresh.

Gotta say I’m greatly saddened by the fact Halo 4 will not have HUGE maps. I know we have 9 more maps coming by January and maybe we will get a nice X-Mas gift then but, Jeez, I was expecting to see some advanced awesome Pirate Wars.

While it’d be awesome to have Mammoths on a map… do you have any idea how mammoth these things are in size?

They’re at least double the size of the elephants, meaning the map to support them will have to be at least double the size of Sandtrap. Unless you only plan on putting one on the map… but the map would still be huge.

The Mammoths are tanks×3. There is an enormous gun mounted on top, with rocket turrets and other things along the side. I’d like to see them balance that out with an 8v8 gametype.

My mighty beast!

The Mammoth wouldn’t work in Multiplayer, unless you like your frames dropping down to 10 or lower.

I still hope it would be on spartan ops, maybe a mission where you have to use it from one point to other, that would be fun as hell.

Simple. Sandbox SIZED map but with no structured. A forged themed map (for forging) that would be big enough.

Balance could be

>Remove Cannon

>Leave Cannon but weaken it

>Replace it with some type of machine gun or “weak” Cannon

There.

Maybe you can spawn in the forge maps.

Maybe we’ll get it in Halo 5.

And you’ve said something along the lines of, that with different coloured forge pieces, framerate would drop.

Perhaps there is not enough disc space anymore.

What does Halo gain but not allowing the use of warships in multiplayer? A functioning game that isn’t overtaxed.

We can’t have everything remember.

If we all look at the size of ‘‘Forge world’’ then flatten it out more. You would pretty much have room enough for 1-2 Mammoths in gameplay.

Mammoth may not even be driveable, if that is the case, it could always be a part of the map and act like the base. (CTF for example)

Look at the size of it!

There’s not much you could do with it except get stuck because you can’t maneuver around the maps because it’s too big. It’d just end up sitting there being next to useless.
