Me and my buddy where going to play halo 2 so we could finish the campaign but when i loaded the game today i had no main menu.
I mean absolutely nothing…you get to the title screen and press the menu button only for it load nothing but the title screen back ground and the music.i have rebooted and restarted the game at-least eight times and to no avail. so my question is do i have to uninstall the game and re-download it or is this a known bug with a fix any help would be appreciated.

Old Post but here is what I did to fix it…
So… here is a FIX that worked for me…
Problem: Once restarting the game the music and audio plays, it seems to be working, but nothing is being shown (alt-shift-right/left) moves a blank window with special mouse cursor to next screen. But regardless of what I did starting the game the main window would not show.
Fix:
Winbows 10: Go to this file location
C:\Users*YOURUSERNAMEHERE*\AppData\LocalLow\MCC\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
replace the bolded with the user profile (if you don’t know it then start run CMD, it will show it there, then exit or X the window)
Open the file
C:\Users*YOURUSERNAMEHERE*\AppData\LocalLow\MCC\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini
Search for (should be towards the bottom)
FullscreenMode=0
My setting was set to ZERO as shown above, I changed it to 1, and save. and now the game launches correctly.
FullscreenMode=1
