As I would imagine most machinima directors understand, nothing is more difficult or frustrating than finding body actors for a scene. In the past this has always been alleviated by having 4 controllers connected. You couldn’t always control all 4 at once very well, but at least you had the body actors. With Halo 5 removing split-screen, this becomes so much more difficult. I was so excited for Halo 5’s new maps and new upcoming forge mode, but without the simple ability to set up a 4 person custom game with at home controllers, filming a machinima on Halo 5 sounds like a nightmare. Does anyone else feel this way?
Im not a machinimer, but i think that if someone really wants to do a project in H5 they will work around no splitscreen
343 has stopped supporting the machinima community since Halo 4. In Reach we had very few customization options with the Elites due to Bungie, and afterwards Halo 4 removed them and it had little support with Custom Games and Theater and it only keeps getting worse.

This is so disheartening ;(
As long as the weapon-lowering trick doesn’t REQUIRE being offline like it used to be, it should be capable of being done over Xbox Live. of course, coordination won’t be easy.
