[Spoilers ahead!] So, during the RTX panel, Frank answered a question that the story ‘Ghosts of Onyx’ will be finished in the upcoming saga. For hose of you who dont know the story, Dr. Halsey, the rest of Blue Team, and a group of Spartan IIIs discovered Bungie’s earlier description of a shield world: a sort of teleporter to a ginormous sphere that could be ‘compressed’ to a very small scale. The story ended with the essentially trapped.
Frank expressed that they were making an effort to wrap up unfinished stories in the upcoming installments.
But perhaps one of the more famous unfinished stories is the Legendary ending to Halo Wars. Those of you who know about it should also know that it is an obvious play for an additional storyline. Rumor had it that the ending was created as a base for a second Halo Wars, should he plans ever be made. After several years and no activity, I say we can assume no such plans will arise. That being said, shouldn’t we be given some type of storyline that illustrates the last of the Spirit of Fire’s story? Does she make her way home? Or is she intercepted by the Covenant… or worse? Or perhaps she should play a more vital role in the upcoming installments to the saga?
My question is, how would you complete this story?
