Disappointed in the fact there is no local Co-Op Gameplay… I have always enjoyed a challenge with my partner playing side by side on our massive LED TV working together but I now find myself for the first time disappointed and no longer interested in playing as I shouldn’t need to purchase multiple consoles & games just to play co-op within the same house!!! Thank’s for ruining my Halo experience 343i…
This has been known for months now. And believe me I am not happy about it now either. But there are discussion threads already in place.

Just because it’s been known doesn’t mean OP isn’t allowed to be disappointed though does it? I have 3 Xboxs in my house, mine, my wifes and my sons. It wasso much of a “problem” for me but I was still annoyed, I love playing Halo splitscreen.
WOW, common knowledge for the non working elite gaming community maybe, not for hard working business owners whom have 3 children, a wife, a dog and well lets face it a LIFE outside of gaming!!! And yes maybe I shouldn’t have assumed this would be an automatic feature within the game BUT 343i also should not assume every single halo player is a yoinking fool that does nothing to contribute to the world other than complain about the frame rate of their favourite game!!!

I mean, it would state on the back of the game before you bought it… If you really had a problem with it you didn’t have to buy it.

I never said anything about him not being allowed to be disappointed, the point I was trying to get across is that he (and most people) should always research information on things you plan on buying no matter what it is.
Hmmmmm Serious “dude” read the dam heading… Im disappointed NOT stupid… I did however purchase the limited edition halo console & MC controller for my wife whom I have no doubt would kick your little nerdy -Yoink- on any version of halo 
The Op is entitled to an opinion, but we live in a time where people need to do research before they buy a product.
The lack of split screen is disappointing.
This was announced almost a year ago.
Not happy about it too, but planned ahead and my brother got his own xbox. Problem solved.
