What did we get for beating it on Legendary back in the day ? MCC gave us armour for Halo 5, but before that I don’t recall anything, not ever, apart from the extra ending.

In Halo 3, you unlock EOD armor for beating the campaign on Legendary difficulty.
In Halo 3: ODST, you unlock Dare as a playable character in Firefight for beating the campaign on Legendary difficulty.
Something unlockable would have been nice, at least a Legendary icon or something. Chief’s campaign armor or classic Mark V would also have been awesome.

If you played around the beta time, you did get chiefs broken armor, if thats what you mean

Thanks, just googled it, it seems that’s it, I agree it would be nice to be rewarded, but as it seems not to be a reward in all games I feel it should not be expected.

I cant remember getting -Yoink- when i beat h1 classic and h2 classic on legendary, i dont remember getting 4 medals per kill or so either.

I’ll take some cookies, fyi you did get rewarded back in tye day difference was you got extra cutscene at the end

Solo legendary gets you the Lone Wolf achievement. Far more valuable than any cosmetic BS.
Didn’t bother me not getting an armor but I did get the lone wold achievement which felt amazing
I don’t know why people are saying that the people who are disappointed that beating Halo 5 on Legendary didn’t grant any rewards are spoiled when Halo 3 offered you EOD, Halo 3: ODST unlocked Dare for Firefight, Halo: Reach was tied into Waypoint’s Career Unlocks and unlocked extra parts for the CQB helmet partially by beating Reach on Legendary and Halo 4 gave you Mark.VI and the Legendary visor. Why would it be unreasonable to assume Halo 5 would have had a reward?
Surely just knowing you beat it is reward enough. Only about half way through my Lone Wolf achievement & I don’t mind not getting anything for it apart from bragging rights.
The amount of armour they have even I was shocked allllllll of it can only be obtained by pure REQ pack luck … I beat leg solo last week and also disappointed but oh well! Still got a good 100G under your belt!
