Did we get shafted on a legendary ending again. Not getting into spoilers, but I thought there would be one. What’s up with that? Did I not do it right?
From what i hear it’s a very slight variation of the after-credits cutscene you get on every other difficulty.
At the end you see master chiefs eyes on Legendary when he takes off his helmet.

It is. I finished it co-op on Heroic, then I watched the Lengendary ending when my brother just finished it.
It is a VERY slight variation, but it is pretty awesome.
EDIT: Well I wasn’t going to get specific, but since someone already told. Ya, you can see his eyes.
There is one, and its a variation of the last cut seen, the only difference is you see a glimps of something very important.
In my experience, the legendary ending is a whole separate added scene. Halo 3 added on after the credits. If there was a slight variation, it’s too minuscule to even notice. Pointless is my opinion. I’m not complaining for say, the campaign was excellent to me. I was just hoping for an added tidbit for finishing it on legendary.
You should know that the Legendary ending is after the credits like always.

It is absolutely NOT too minuscule to notice. I can guarantee you that.

This is totally fake! You do not see his eyes. It fades black on legendary as it does on normal. I know because I witnessed it an hour ago.
Unless doing it solo yields the difference? I finished it co-op. That shouldn’t matter though.

Maybe you need to replay it… everyone else noticed it.

I witnessed it about 20 mins ago and it does not fade to black.
I beat legendary on co-op, but I heard to has to be Solo it see the Legendary ending.

I can confirm this. A very lame alteration if you ask me, and no one is asking me, because nobody wants a charlie in the box.
I would have had Del Rio sittin in a jail cell, and Halsey asks from the top bunk “What are you in for?”
Or…
MY SPARTAN strutting around the Infinity in his armor, bumps into a very gloomy Master Chief. An alarm sounds off.
MC: I need a weapon.
Me: Right this way.

So it does have to be solo. That’s pretty lame. I appreciate you folks straightening this out. Why would they only do this for solo? Seems kind of dumb. So I saw one ending , but not “THE” ending.

It’s soooo so slight of a variation though, and really you don’t get to see much. I’ve been a Halo fan ever since Halo: CE, and even I didn’t care too much about the varied legendary ending.
With this being said, I did complete the game on normal difficulty first, and then on legendary. When I saw the legendary ending my reaction was a bit like “that’s it?”, so it’s not very special at all IMO.
